Learning for the Future

Over the next century technology will start to become more and more important. Social networking sites and sites like Google will become even more necessary than they are today. The jobs that are created over the next century will require you to be able to use the new technology. Social skills that are needed today will start to become less important. People already email or text you if they need to tell you something so in the next century phone calls and talking won’t be needed. If you are able to use technology then you will be able to function successfully in the 21st century.

  1. I agree with Luke when he says that face to face communication is becoming less an less important. I think it's sad that now you don't need to call anyone or see them in person to talk to them. Although technology is really important I don't think that it should replace interpersonal relationships.

  2. I agree with both Jasmine and Luke. Face to face communication isn't as common, and isn't really that important as it once was. It's sort of unfortunate though. Me, nor my generation probably won't learn some of the skills that our parents have. Like Jasmine said, technology shouldn't replace interpersonal relationships. Technology is a good thing though. Everyone in my generation enjoys it, and we will be prepared for the future, and our future jobs. The way technology moves today, it makes me wonder what could be next.
